This artwork consists of three individual components that interlock to form one cohesive work. Its design is reflective of what a community is - that of stability and security. An expression of solidity and sturdiness, overlapping shapes seem to depend on each other. Its horizontal structure helps enhance the feeling of security, incorporating curved edges and circles to soften its linear form.
The leading colour palette of blue helps to elevate the sense of reliability and trust. A warm orange, pastel pink and mint green are colours that can be associated with the feelings that come with a strong community – positivity, comfort and balance.
