About

I start by considering what feelings I want to inspire in the viewer and how I want my art to impact the space. I then use shape psychology, also bringing in inspiration from architecture, to influence the design. Colour psychology theory guides the palette to help me achieve my desired outcome.

Each design is composed of individual, layered, wooden shapes. The strata forms shadows that change depending on the viewer’s perspective, the environment and the light. A key concept of my artwork is these transformations, offering the viewer an ever changing vision.

Having completed an Art and Design Foundation course at Central Saint Martins, I studied Set Design for Stage and Screen at Wimbledon College of Art, London. I now live and work in Cheshire.
