About
I start by considering how I want the viewer to feel, whether that be relaxed, calm, uplifted or joyful. I then use shape psychology to influence the form and colour psychology to guide the palette to help induce those feelings.
Each artwork is composed of individual, layered shapes. The strata forms shadows that change depending on the viewer’s perspective, the environment and the light. A key concept of my artwork is these transformations, offering the viewer an ever changing vision.
Having completed an Art and Design Foundation course at Central Saint Martins, I studied Set Design for Stage and Screen at Wimbledon College of Art, London. I now live and work in Cheshire.
